Amazon and Tropical Rainforest

Sani Lodge

Clustered on the shore of a remote black water lagoon are the private, thatch-roofed cabańas of Sani Lodge. The lodge accommodates a maximum of 30 guests, emphasizing quality rather than quantity, and thereby offering you a more intimate experience with the rainforest. Enjoy sightings of monkeys, caiman, birds and so much more during the day while enjoying the comfort of returning to the lodge to your relaxing accommodation in the evening. The lodge consists of 10 cabańas and an open-air dining room that offers exquisite views of colorful sunsets over the beautiful lake.

Tapir Lodge

Located only 30 minutes by air from Quito is Ecuador’s wild jungle and its vast and pristine beauty. Botanists have discovered around 300 species of trees in one hectare alone. This region is a heaven to be explored with impressive vegetation and wildlife. Tapir Lodge, located within the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve, was built in partnership with family members of the Siona Community. The Lodge provides high ecological standards that aim to preserve the rainforest and its wildlife community. You will enjoy accommodations including nice ventilated rooms, ecological bathrooms, and hot water and electricity from solar panels.

The eastern side of Ecuadorian Amazon is boundless because it expands toward the Amazon plains. The Manatee Amazon Explorer trip will take place at the Napo Basin where we will explore the Napo River and its tributaries. The Napo, a white water river, is about 1300km long, the first 460km are situated in Ecuador, while the rest lies in Peruvian Territory. The Manatee Amazon Explorer will navigate in Ecuadorian territory through the Napo and Aguarico Rivers.
