This brief extension will take you to the must see sites in Cuzco and Machu Picchu. After a short flight we arrive in Cuzco and tour the city. You will see a series of Inca ruins in the Capital of the Inca Empire including the Temple of the Sun, the Inca Fountains and the Sacsahuaman Fortress. A breathtaking train ride through the Sacred Valley will take you to the famous “lost city,” Machu Picchu with a full day tour of the site with a stay in the nearby villiage of Aguas Calientes.

Explore the ruins and villages of the Sacred Valley. Visit the very indigenous and colorful village of Pisac and its famous Indian Market. Following the Urubamba River Valley we travel to Ollantaytambo. The ruins here feature impressive terraces running up steep hillsides topped with a stone throne carved for the area’s leader to supervise his land. The tour also includes a tour of Cuzco with an awe inspiring train ride to Machu Picchu.
