This adventure features two of Costa Rica’s highlights: the Pacuare River is considered one of the top rivers in the world for a variety of reasons and the Arenal Volcano a must-see in all Costa Rica itineraries. You will explore the intimate nature of the rainforest from the river perspective and experience one of the world’s most active volcanos.

We will visit the Corcovado National Park, the crown jewel in Costa Rica’s extensive system of national parks and biological reserves in the Osa Peninsula, the Arenal Volcano, the town of Monteverde and its Cloud Forest, home to more than 100 species of mammals and more than 400 species of birds. Yampu travelers will spend their last 2 nights at Manuel Antonio National Park, with its small beaches and bays surrounded by luscious rainforest.

This is a packed trip that will take Yampu travelers to Costa Rica’s main highlights: Tortuguero National Park, the third-most popular park in Costa Rica, although it can only be reached by airplane or boat; Sarapiqui; the Arenal Volcano; Monteverde Cloud Forest; Rincón de la Vieja National Park, where you may find quetzals, curassows, cougars, monkeys, kinkajous and jaguars; and ending in Tamarindo with its beautiful beaches.
