Chachapoyas Mummies and Cajamarca

The "Chachapoyans" were a civilization that existed before the Incas. They left ample remains of their culture. Amongst these are impressive ruins of Kuelap at 9000 feet, with its massive 100 foot high walls, and the recently discovered Mummies of the "Cloud Forest People" overlooking the Lake of the Condors. The trip will take us to the beautiful city of Cajamarca, once a major Inca city.
