The "Chachapoyans" were a civilization that existed before the Incas. They left ample remains of their culture. Amongst these are impressive ruins of Kuelap at 9000 feet, with its massive 100 foot high walls, and the recently discovered Mummies of the "Cloud Forest People" overlooking the Lake of the Condors. The trip will take us to the beautiful city of Cajamarca, once a major Inca city.

You may also visit the ruins of Vilcashuaman, considered to be the geographical center of the Inca empire, and the Ruins of Intihuana, with its thermal baths.

Named the 'White City' after its volcano, this quaint Andean town is filled with Spanish architecture. Main attractions include the Catalina Convent, unchanged since 1580, the famous Cathedral and the Colca Canyon - second deepest canyon in the world.

Nestled in the high plateau of the Northern Andes lies the highest navigable lake in the world, Lake Titicaca. You will start your trip with an amazing train trip from Cuzco to Puno where you will stay on the shores of Puno for one night. The next morning, you will start your day by visiting the Floating Isles of Uros and the Island of Taquile. From here we will travel to the northeastern region of Lake Titicaca, Suasi, a private 43-hectare island where everything is different: dawn, rain, storms, twilight.
