Huaraz, at 9,000 feet, is considered to be the most important trekking and climbing center in Peru and possibly all of South America. We offer three excursions to this beautiful region, two are mostly sightseeing with very little trekking, and one which will take you on a trekking expedition around the surrounding mountains and pre-Inca sites.

The Inca Trail is the trail the Incas used to connect the four corners of the Tawantinsuyo or Inca Empire. They had a sophisticated system of communication with messengers or 'Chasquis', with relays every 10 miles, which worked efficiently for the transportation of messages or goods for the rulers. We offer two versions of the Inca Trail: 4 days and 2 days.

River rafting in the Cuzco region has become increasingly popular, since there exists a variety of Grade I to IV rapids. The beauty of the surrounding mountains make it a breathtaking experience.
