Bolivia is South America’s best-kept secret, landlocked in the heart of the continent. Visitors may partake of Lake Titicaca, the highest lake in the world; the Amazon jungle; the huge salt flats of Uyuni; or the beautiful colonial cities of Sucre and Potosí. La Paz, the highest capital in the world, has the feeling of an Andean town with some indigenous women still wearing traditional costumes. Bolivia, the “Tibet of the Americas,” has very diverse ecological zones, ranging from the Altiplano to Amazonian rainforests.

In Bolivia, our basic tours are the Bolivian Highlights, visiting La Paz and Lake Titicaca, and Bolivia’s other important destinations. You may then choose from a wide variety of side trips to fit your specific interests. Most of Yampu’s tours do not have set dates of departure and are only subject to availability. This allows you to choose your own dates of travel.
