Gentille was our guide in Rio and he was FABULOUS! His English was perfect. He was funny, nice, respectful, accommodating, smart, and provided a lot of information. We would recommend him to anyone! We really enjoyed the Sugar Loaf and Cristo look out points, as well as being driven around the city to get a better idea of the different neighborhoods. The Oceano hotel was nice too. While the room itself was just standard, the bathroom, roof, and lobby were very nice. We also enjoyed its location in Copacabana. In terms of Buzios, we LOVED it. We ended up staying at the Colonna Park Hotel, because apparently the Colonna Beach Hotel was closed. This Colonna Park Hotel was AMAZING- excellent view, room, food, and staff! It seemed to have an even nicer view than the Beach hotel. I think that wraps everything up.
