El Salvador
El Salvador is the most densely populated country in Central America and has a population of over 7 million. This tiny country on the Pacific Coast of Central America is full of unique natural and cultural treasures to offer its visitors. It shares borders with Guatemala and Honduras, and is the only Central American country that does not have a Caribbean coastline. The coffee industry has long been the main source of income for El Salvador, although, tourism has grown considerably in the last few years, and is quickly becoming an important part of the economy. Known for its beaches, nightlife and mestizo culture, El Salvador is a beautiful country that has something for everyone!
Our Salvador Highlight Tours are the perfect introduction to this warm and friendly country. You may choose from the 5-day Brief El Salvador Tour which takes you to San Salvador, Maya sites and villages, volcanoes and coffee plantations. Or you may prefer the more leisurely 8-day Complete El Salvador Tour which also takes you to the typical markets, Lake Suchitlan, the Jiboa Valley, the colonial town of Suchitoto and El Cuco Beach. Yampu El Salvador tours do not have set dates of departure and are subject to availability. This gives you the flexibility to choose your own dates of travel.

I returned home safe and sound on Sunday. Thank you very much for organizing a most successful overland trip through Central America. I am thinking seriously about a third overland trip through South America in the next year or so. Thank you again for arranging a very successful and most enjoyable itinerary. I will contact you again in the next couple of months about similar trips through South America and the Caribbean. Kind regards |
