The Huaorani are a timeless tribe. Huaorani translates as “The People”. The Huaorani maintain their traditional lifestyle. But unlike other tribes, they have now leaded a more settled and open existence in the rainforest. Facing the possibility that their culture will eventually disappear, they have chosen to resist.
