Yampu’s comprehensive tour includes a visit to the Gamboa Rainforest Resort and Soberania National Park, and partial transit on the Panama Canal. We then return to Panama City to visit Anton Valley, one of the most colorful towns in Panama with their Sunday market. Continue to the San Blas Islands, where we will spend a night and visit Kuna Indians in their natural habitat. We will enjoy two days in Panama City and one in the historic town of Portobelo.

This combined tour includes a visit to Belize’s Maya ruins of Xunantunich and Cahal Pech, and a visit to the Maya ruins of Tikal in Guatemala. Yampu travelers will also visit the Rainforest Medicinal Trails and Butterfly Farm near San Ignacio in the Cayo District, the Belize Zoo, and the amazing barrier reef of the Hol Chan Marine Reserve in Ambergris Caye. We will spend the last 4 days relaxing in Ambergris Caye. This island, largely unaltered by human hands, is mostly a mangrove swamp surrounded by a ring of white sandy beaches.
