Yampu’s Rio de Janeiro and Buzios Tour is the perfect introduction to Brazil’s wonderful beaches. For 3 days, we will be in Marvelous Rio (famous for its spectacular natural setting, Carnival celebrations, samba music and beaches like Ipanema and Copacabana), then it’s on to Buzios. About 100 miles from Rio, it was once just a quaint fishing village but it is so much more now. Buzios, with cobblestone streets, white beaches and crystal-clear waters, is a sophisticated resort with many restaurants and a very active night life.

The deep-flowing waters of the Iguazu River plunge over 275 falls, encompassing almost two miles. Iguazu Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world, is taller than Niagara Falls and twice as wide. The border with Brazil goes through the Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat) where the falling water gives the illusion of magic rainbows.
