We recommend you store your full luggage at the hotel in Cuzco. The same is true for the train from Cuzco to Puno. Also an overnight bag is great when traveling to the Amazon, large suitcases will not transport well in small Amazon canoes to the lodges and it is best to only bring the essentials.
