Complete five-day circuit going to the Jesuit missions in San Javier and Concepcion, but also to the missions in Santa Ana, San Rafael and San Ignacio, located in the immense and beautiful prairies of Chiquitania in the Amazon jungle.
Day 1
The marvelous Jesuit Missions are located on the immense prairie of the Chiquitania. Private transportation from Santa Cruz passing the Rio Grande, Rio San Julian, San Ramon and arriving in the Jesuit Mission of San Javier. This beautiful town has preserved all the influence of colonial architecture and is surrounded by the rich Amazon jungle. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 2
The trip continues through open savannas and areas of jungle until we reach the town of Concepción, the largest center of the Missions, with a beautiful Jesuit church that is a special treasure of the baroque from the 18th century. The town also serves as the main and largest repair shop for all the restoration done in the Jesuit Missions. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 3
On the road to San Ignacio, we will pass through forests of palms, lagoons and more jungle areas. San Ignacio is the largest city of the area and a main center of commerce. Its main church is under reconstruction to bring back its traditional style. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 4
This a long, but great, day because the trip passes interesting Mission villages and churches that have been very well preserved. The villages are Santa Ana, San Rafael and San Miguel, each with their own Jesuit Mission church. We will then return to San Ignacio. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 5
Return to Santa Cruz, passing Concepción and San Javier, and transfer to the airport to return to La Paz or overlap with the add-on of your choice. Lunch included.
