Start your journey of the Yucatan Peninsula in Cancun; from here you will head to Mérida, the social and economic center, as well as the capital, of the state of Yucatán. Mérida makes a good base from which to explore the Mayan archeological sites of Uxmal and Kabah. From Mérida continue to Chichen-Itza to visit the famous ruins.

We then head to beautiful Tulum. As the only significantly sized Mayan ruin on the Caribbean coast, Tulum’s uniqueness adds to the Mayan mystique. Thought to be the seaport for nearby Coba, Tulum’s walled environment is at once photogenic and enigmatic. From here you will visit the gorgeous island that is Cozumel, giving you time to relax before making your journey home.

Day 1

Take the flight to Cancun. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 2

Transfer to Merida. Upon arrival in Mérida, the "white city," transfer to your hotel. Afternoon city tour of beautiful Merida.

Day 3

Enjoy today's incredible excursion to the archaeological sites of Uxmal and Kabah. Uxmal was probably built around 700 A.D. The rich, green, fertile land provides a perfect setting for some of the most magnificent ancient pyramids, buildings and temples of the ancient Mayan world. You can sense the history here as you walk around and gaze at the stunning architecture and majestic layout of this ancient city. The Piramide del Adivino (the Oracle's Pyramid) stands majestically above other buildings, and a climb to its summit will reward you with spectacular views of the entire half-square-mile ancient city. Kabah is located south of Uxmal connecting both archaeological sites by a grand 18-kilometer-long pedestrian causeway with monumental arches at each end. Kabah is the second largest ruin of the Puuc region, after Uxmal. The most famous structure at Kabah ruins is the Palacio de las Mascaras (the Palace of the Masks), its facade decorated with hundreds of stone masks of the long-nosed rain god Chaac. It is also known as the Codz Poop, meaning "Rolled Matting." The site also has a number of other palaces, low stone buildings, and step-pyramid temples you will be able to discover and enjoy. Overnight in Merida.

Day 4

After breakfast, leave Mérida on your way to the ancient archeological site of Chichen-Itza. The famous Mayan pyramids of Chichen-Itza are more than 1,500 years old. The site is divided into three sections. The north grouping of structures is distinctly Toltec in style. The central group appears to be from the early period. The southern group is known as "The Old Chichén." You will find a large ball court where Mayan men played a game called pok ta pok, full of symbolism and drama. Overnight in Chichen-Itza.

Transfer to Tulum and check into your hotel

Coba & Cenotes The archaeological site of Coba – which is Mayan for “Water Stirred by the Winds” – is next to a group of shallow lakes. The archaeological remains were found date back to AD 600. During our visit to this ruins, we will notice how pleasurably peaceful it is due to its isolation of the roads and nearby towns, and also due to less affluence of visitors. We can find a vast and abundant wildlife around Coba. The Cenotes used to be sacred Mayan places, believed to be for purification or sacrifices. Today you can explore the majesty of underwater worlds in all their colorful, breathtaking beauty.

Sian Ka'an Wilderness Adventure Visit and get to know the most important Biosphere Reserve in Mexico “Sian Ka‘an". Cross the unspoiled wetlands by boat watching how the ecosystems change. Discover the animals and plants of the Maya Jungle, and finally enjoy snorkeling in an underground river. Lunch included.

Transfer via Playa del Carmen to the island of Cozumel. Upon arrival in Cozumel, check into your hotel.
