Our Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls and Bariloche Tour will take you around the capital city of Buenos Aires and to the impressive Iguazu Falls at the intersection of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. We will also visit San Carlos de Bariloche. This city, originally settled by Austrians and Germans in the late 19th century, is surrounded by lakes (Nahuel Huapi, Gutiérrez, Moreno and Mascardi) and mountains (Tronador, Cerro Catedral and Cerro López). It is the base for many excursions throughout the region that thrill and inspire visitors.

This trip can be customized to fit your individual travel dates and any specific requests you may have. Your travel consultant will prepare a customized itinerary for you. We offer a choice of 3, 4, 5-star and deluxe hotels. The Deluxe option is with the Alvear Palace or Four Seasons in Buenos Aires; the Iguazu Grand or Sheraton with a room with a view to the falls in Iguazu; and the Llao Llao in Bariloche.

This tour includes international airfare from Miami (US), on non-holiday dates. You do not need to fly via Miami; Yampu will fly you the most direct way to your city of destination. Depending on your travel dates and proximity of travel, we will quote you the most economical surcharge from your city or country of origin.

Day 1

Take the overnight flight to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Day 2

Arrive in Buenos Aires, and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon, city tour of Buenos Aire, an impressive city that combines the atmosphere of an old European town with the features of a Latin American capital. In this tour, you will acquire a deep understanding of its characteristics, history, architecture, culture and stories. We will visit the center of the city, San Telmo, La Boca, Puerto Madero and Palermo, with stops in Plaza de Mayo, Caminito and La Recoleta.
Note: check-in is normally after 2 pm. Early check-in may be granted subject to availability (not confirmed). Also, tour is done on group basis and may involve wait times picking up other passengers at different hotels. We recommend that this tour be done privately in order to avoid this, at an additional cost of $ 42 per person, based on two people ($ 84 based on one person).

Day 3

Fiesta Gaucha
Full-day excursion to an estancia for a typical barbeque lunch and a folklore/gaucho show. Here we will learn about the customs of the Argentinean gauchos and their abilities on horseback that will leave you breathless. The meat will be cooked a lo gaucho outdoors on the barbeque. Lunch and drinks included. Afternoon, return to Buenos Aires. Duration: 6 hours. Operates every day except Tuesday.

Day 4

Day at leisure in Buenos Aires
Evening tango show
At night, you will watch an unforgettable tango show performed by the best dancers and singers while enjoying a delicious meal at Esquina Carlos Gardel. This world-famous tango show features the glamour of the 1930s in a romantic and intimate setting. This is the perfect way to leave Buenos Aires, the city of tango. Three-course dinner and Argentinean wine included.

Day 5

Morning transfer to the airport to take the flight to Puerto Iguazu. Reception at Puerto Iguazu airport and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure or choose from optional tours.

Day 6

Morning guided tour to the Argentinean side of the waterfalls. Pick-up at your hotel and transfer to visitor center inside Iguazu National Park. To get from the visitor center to the beginning of the upper path, lower path and Devil’s Throat, you will board a little train that runs from the visitor center to the paths and between each one of them. You may also walk from the visitor center to the upper and lower paths, but you cannot walk to Devil’s Throat because it is located more than 4 kilometers from the visitor center.

Great Adventure: This tour combines a jungle trip with a boat trip to the falls. Trip starts in the jungle of the National Park in 4 by 4 trucks without roof for best visibility of the trees and to take good photos. Then we take a zodiac boat to the lower Iguazu River upstream to discover the falls little by little with a panoramic view of the Iguazu Falls. Be prepared to get wet under the falls! Afternoon return to your hotel.
Note: this boat tour involves some light trekking and climbing of steep stairs. You need to be in reasonably good shape since it can become somewhat strenuous. Please ask your travel consultant about this.

Day 7

Transfer to the airport to take flight back to Buenos Aires and connect with the flight to Bariloche. Upon arrival in Bariloche airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Afternoon free to enjoy Bariloche and its fabulous views of the Andes across the blue waters of Lake Nahuel Huapi. Bariloche and its surrounding area feature evergreen forests, snow-capped peaks, deep blue or transparent green lakes, spring flowers and alpine architecture.

Day 8

Departure to Puerto Panuelo to embark and sail up to Puerto Cántaros at Lake Nahuel Huapi’s west extreme. Upon arrival, we will hike up to Cántaros Lake, walking through a beautiful Valdivian forest, seeing the different Cántaros Cascade waterfalls. We will then embark again to cross Blest Arm and descend at Puerto Blest, where we will have time for lunch (not included) and visit the National Park Interpretation Center. (Optional excursion to the Frias Lake (entrance fee of $ 18 to be paid locally) Return to Puerto Panuelo and transfer to your hotel.

Day 9

Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, transfer to the international airport for connecting flight back home.
