You will also spend 3 nights in Quito, a city set high in the Andes at 9,350 feet above sea level. Only miles from the Equator, Quito is blessed with a spring-like climate year round. The city is filled with rich cultural history, cathedrals boasting gold-laden interiors, and plenty of parks and courtyards in which to enjoy the comfortable weather.

On this program you really get to know the Islands and their personalities. Relaxing on the comfortable Guantanamera, you will explore the lower islands of Espańola and Floreana before cruising to one of the most northern islands, Genovesa. This longer cruise allows you many chances to see the amazing birds & animals that the islands have to offer. You will have opportunities to snorkel with sea lions, Galapagos Penguins, marine iguanas and possibly even hammerhead sharks. This program includes a great combination of Ecuador’s breath-taking nautical wildlife, as well as gems from its cosmopolitan, cultural center.

The Galapagos Cruises operates two 8-day itineraries. Depending on your dates of travel, you will enjoy either itinerary A or itinerary B. You will see the various ports of call listed on the day-by-day itinerary accordingly.
