This tour includes all of the classic Tanzanian safari destinations and an extension to the coastal Saadani National Park. You will experience world class game viewing in Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. Your trip concludes with Saadani, on the Tanzanian coastline. This final stop will provide a nice change of scenery and the opportunity to view a different ecosystem home to crocodiles, hippopotamuses and flamingos.

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Arusha to spend the night. The following day, you will begin the safari circuit in Tarangire National Park. The park’s 2,850 square kilometers is home to many wetland areas and is especially known for large herds of elephants and majestic baobab trees. In addition to its variety of classic African animals, the park also offers a unique insight into the Maasai culture and way of life.

After two nights in Tarangire, the next two nights will be spent at the Ngorongoro Crater, a large, un-flooded volcanic caldera which formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed on itself millions of years ago. Within the crater’s rim are plains teeming with herds of animals, while the surrounding highlands offer views that are out of this world.

Next, you will spend the following four nights in the Serengeti, easily the country’s most renowned park and also the largest. Its far reaching plains of endless grass, tinged with the twisted shadows of acaicia tree have made it the quintessential image of a wild and untarnished Africa. It is also home to the annual wildebeest migration, where more then a million animals make the seasonal journey into the plains.

Lastly, the remaining three nights will be spent on the coastal Saadani National Park. It is the last protected coastal area in East Africa where it over looks the stunning Indian Ocean. It is unique in that it offers both a relaxing beach holiday and the opportunity to go on safari as well if desired.. All the accommodation fronts on to the beach, so you can walk straight on the sand for your morning swim. Activities include superb diving, snorkeling, dhow sailing, fishing and kayaking as well as endless walks along deserted beaches.

Throughout this journey, you can expect to view the most sought after wildlife, including large prides of lions, elephant, zebra, and wildebeest herds, the endangered black rhino, leopards, varieties of antelope and gazelles, monkeys, and a whole range of even more wildlife in awe-inspiring numbers.
