Prices include air transportation from Miami to Buenos Aires in economy class, all domestic airfare, hotel accommodation including daily continental breakfast, city tours in English including all entrance fees, all transfers between airports and hotels with assistance and baggage handling, all meals at Los Notros (American-style buffet breakfast, lunch, and a la carte dinner at the hotel, non-alcoholic beverages included, tea and happy hour), most meals in Buenos Aires, dinners in Bariloche. Airport taxes are included.

No visa is required for travel to Argentina as a U.S., Canadian or Australian citizen. A reciprocity fee must be paid upon entering Argentina. The current amount that must be paid by U.S. citizens is $140 per person and $75 per person (single entry) for Canadian citizens.

Los Notros

The Hosteria Los Notros is located in the extreme south of the Santa Cruz Province, the most southern province of Argentina, which takes part of the mythical region known as Patagonia. The vast region is full of beautiful lakes and rivers, snowed-capped mountains, cliffs and majestic fiords, native woods and spectacular millennial glaciers.
Here you will find the beautiful Hosteria Los Notros. Hosteria “Los Notros” enjoys one of the most incredible views you can imagine: the Perito Moreno Glacier on Lago Argentino. Los Notros is composed of only 32 rooms in three types of categories: Cascada, Superior and Premium. The “Cascada” area includes 12 rooms, 50 m away from the restaurant, which are connected to the principal area by a bridge over the Velo de Novia stream. The remaining 20 rooms are divided into 2 categories: 8 “Superior” rooms, and 12 “Premium” rooms, all of them fitted with bar. Almost all the Premium rooms have Jacuzzi. The hotel has a restaurant where regional cuisine is served. It has a bar, boutique, lounge, video room, telephone, fax and e-mail at the reception desk.

Excursions included are: Walkways of the Perito Moreno Glacier, Nautical Safari, Minitrekking, Mil Outdoors Day, Drive 4×4, Walks of Drop, Medium and high-intensity.

Walkways
Duration 2 hours
Difficulty: Low
Description: Depart from our Los Notros in one of our vans to the viewpoints in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier. There are seven balconies or viewpoints, located at different heights and distances from the Glacier, connected by steps and stairs. From the highest balcony you can see the amazing surface of the Glacier, its northern face, as well as, the southern face. As you go down, you will find the second balncony, closer to the ince. This is the place where, on accasion, the ice dam is formed. The lower balcony is the closest you can get to the Glacier. We will then return to Los Notros in one of our vans. The walkways are only 7 km away from the lodge, therefore, you may prefer to walk back. This will take approximately 1hr and 15minutes. Departures: Daily, in the morning and in the afternoon.

Minitrekking over the Perito Moreno Glacier

Duration: 4 to 5 hours
Difficulty: Medium. This trek is only for people between the ages of 10 and 65. Not advisable for pregnant women or people with heart, respiratory or mobility disorders.
Description: Depart in one of our vans to the pier Bajo de Las Sombras, located 1 km from the Hosteria. A 20 minute sale across the Rico Arm with breathtaking views of the Glacier’s front walls, will take you to the opposite shore. Specialized mountain guides welcome you and lead you to a small shelter. Small groups follow their guides along the lake’s shore towards the edge of the glacier. Once on the ice, they will give you crampons and explain how to use them. The two our circuit that follows will introduce yo to the fascinating landscape of the glaciers: small lagoons, gullies, crevasses and plenty of ice formations of the mose incredible blues. The trekking is moderate. The ice surface over which you walk is irregular, but firm and safe. You will receive explanations about general glaciology of the region and also in particular the Perito Moreno Glacier. After the walk, a stroll through the forest brings you back to the shelter. Our vans will take you back to the Hosteria. We suggest that you bring sunglasses, sunscreen, gloves and comfortable shoes and outerwear. Changes and cancellations can be made until 5pm of the previous day. Remember to choose the available meals for the lunch box the previous day. Lunch will not be provided for the afternoon group. Nautical Safari
Duration: 1:30 hour
Difficulty: Low.
Description: The catamaran promenade from the Puerto Bajo de las Sombras, located just 1km. from the Hosteria. You navigate during one tour in front of the South face of the Perito Moreno Glacier to appreciate the height of the ice and the frequent landslides of its front. Ideal for photographic safari.
Transfer duration: 15 minutes per section.
Departures: daily.
Walk/Sendero de la Costa (Path of the Coast)
Duration: 2:30 hours
Difficulty: Medium. Narrow path, with some sharp elevations and sections on rocks. It is not recommended for elder children nor older people or with difficulties for walking.
Description: Transfer from the Hosteria in our vehicles till the sectional Moreno of Nacional Parks. The paths goes along the Canal de los Tempanos, going up by the cost and crossing the forest. You arrive to different natural observatories, that let you watch the north wall of the Glacier and its proximity to the peninsula. The final destination are the gangplanks.
Observations: The promenade must be done with a qualified guide or a representative of the National Park. The path is closed on rainy days.
Timetable: In the mornings or in the afternoons to be confirmed in the reception desk.

Cuisine at Los Notros

You can think or hear about it in every language, the result will be the same; “gourmet” at Los Notros is always a tribute to the best tastes in a good meal.
An autochthonous cooking in which Patagonian lamb, exquisite trout, the best Argentinean meat or fish that live in the seas that the Pioneers sailed, are mixed with the smoked, the terrines and the homemade pâté, the goat cheeses and the sylvan mushrooms of the Patagonian woods.
All this, crowned with the exquisite and tempting desserts as crčme brulč with a pinch of Lavandas or the most convincing, elaborated mix of crafted chocolates and diverse red fruits.
And one pleasant detail: an almost panoramic window allows the view of the hustle in the kitchen where all this dishes are made.

Activities available at Llao Llao/Bariloche

Mountain Bike
Mountain Biking has become a new kind of tourism. It is perhaps the advent of new generations that look for direct contact with nature, a concern for the environment, sports and group relationships. The lake region is undoubtedly an area of immense beauty to enjoy on a bike, in a group, with family or friends among mountains and forests of absolute purity.

Llao Llao Hotel & Resort, among other recreational activities organizes simple bike tours for beginners (1 hour long), or more challenging tours (4 hours long). Bikes, helmets, technical assistance and radio communication are available.

Trekking
We offer different trekking tours following natural trails in the vicinity of the Hotel, open to all guests. Health walks: 45’, with a guide. It is an aerobic walk to start the day full of energy.

Recreational Walks:
A 90 minute walk to give our guests the possibility of going on a short morning walk. There is also an afternoon walk. These are low intensity walks where the only requirement is to walk for 2 or 3 hours. Trails vary according to participants, we try to take a different one each day so that our enthusiastic guests have a flavor of the different natural beauties.
High intensity walks: for athletes and adventurers. Three times a week we go on an excursion to Mount López. It starts at 9 am and finishes at 4 pm with lunch in the mountain (not included). These walks are guided by skilled instructors.

Archery
On Lake Moreno shores you will be able to learn all its techniques and secrets.

Canadian Canoeing
Children and adults of all ages will be able to enjoy the lake and free use of hotel canoes. If you never used on before, we will provide the necessary instruction. Capacity 2 Passengers. Available from 11 am to 7 pm.

Optimist
For children under 12. They can sail or learn how to sail in our Optimists. Available from 11 am to 7 pm.

Snipe
A sailboat is available at the Marina for those adults who are expert sailors. Just make your reservation and fill out the responsibility form for the use of the boat.

Fly fishing
For those who have never had the experience of fly fishing, we invite you to participate in this interesting world, and we will give you some instruction to start. This activity takes place twice a week and requires a reservation.

Wakeboard
Two free lessons a week; then you can hire private lessons in our Marina. This sport – similar to water skiing with a single board – has become very popular recently. Necessary instruction is provided at initial stage.

Water Skiing
An exciting activity for summer season at the Marina. Extra cost will depend on time spent on skis (aprox. 15’ per shift). Previous instruction and lessons include neoprene outfit. Open from 11 am to 7 pm. Previous reservation required.
