In Iguazu Falls, allow the deep-flowing waters of the Iguazu River, plunging over 275 falls, to mesmerize your entire family. In El Calafate you will visit the Estancia Cristina, the breathtaking Upsala Glacier, and the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier, one of only three glaciers not retreating in Patagonia.

The Iguazu Falls and National Park are the largest in the Americas, surrounded by an amazing wildlife preserve in the middle of the jungle. The deep flowing waters of the river fall from a height of thirty feet through almost three hundred falls over two miles. The border with Brazil goes through the Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat) where the falling water gives the illusion of magic rainbows. Yampu travelers will take a boat ride to see Devil’s Throat up close (don’t forget your raincoat!), and walk through the nearby trails.

We will visit the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier, a true ice river 60kms long that drops down to Lake Argentina, and one of only three Patagonian glaciers that are not retreating. We will also explore the northern tip of the Lago Argentino and the Estancia Cristina to see the breathtaking Upsala Glacier, 30km wide and the largest in the Patagonia.
