Paddle along the Mamanguá Bay and enjoy being in contact with virgin forest and amazing beaches. The Mamangua fjord nearby Paraty City is the only fjord in Brazil and it is part of the protected area of Cairucu and the Ecological Reserve of the Juatinga. We will be staying at the Mamangua Ecolodge.

We offer accommodation at the Mamangua Ecolodge. Located in Mamangua fjord, it cannot be accessed by road, only by boat. This exclusive structure treats guests with ample space lawn, swimming pool, a beach and outdoor activities.

Day 1

Departure from Sao Paulo and transfer to Parati Mirim. Upon arrival, we will receive security instructions, enjoy and lunch box and start paddling to Mamanaguá Bay (1.5 hours). Upon arrival, check in at Mamanguá Eco Lodge and time to relax before we get dinner.

Day 2

We will have the whole day to explore the Mamanguá Bay including the mangrove, a hike to a waterfall or just enjoy your time at a beach (2.5 hours paddling). We will go to a fisherman village called Baixio where we can shop wood handicraft from the locals. We will enjoy of a lunch box en route. Then return to our lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

In the morning, we will cross the bay paddling, the leave the kayaks and walk up to Mamanguá’s Sugar Loaf to have a nice view of the region (2 hours return). Later, we will have lunch at a fisherman’s house on Praia do Cruzeiro. We will also learn how to build a fishing net and use it while paddling on a native canoe. Dinner and overnight stay at our lodge.

Day 4

In the morning, we will paddle back to Parati Mirim for snorkeling and to visit the waterfall at Engenho Beach before our transfer to Parati.
