Manuel Antonio is known for its white sand beaches, cliffs, rivers, rain forests, large variety of animal life, and warm climate. The Manuel Antonio National Park is home of the white-faced capuchin, mantled howler and red-backed squirrel monkeys, two- and three-toed sloths, and a large number of species of birds. You will spend three nights at a hotel near the park with a full day excursion to the National Park.
Day 1
Pick-up at hotel in San José for transfer to Manuel Antonio area. Upon arrival, transfer to your selected hotel.
Day 2
Visit to Manuel Antonio National Park. This 3,000-acre park is considered one of the most beautiful in all of Costa Rica. With its white sand beaches, abundant fauna, exuberant flora and scenic footpaths, it is one of the most visited national parks in the country. Manuel Antonio includes a wooded area, densely populated by monkeys and raccoons, and three exceptionally beautiful beaches. It is one of the few areas in which the rare squirrel monkey can be found. The footpaths go through the primary and secondary forest.
Day 3
Day of leisure. Optional horseback riding, kayaking and other excursions available.
Day 4
Departure to San José. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.
Day 5
Transfer to the airport for international flight or choose another extension.
