At the foot of the Andes, Bodegas Salentein are situated in a prime location, more than 1,200 meters above sea level, surrounded by the company’s fincas (ranches). Posada Salentein is a small and exclusive lodge located on the fincas of Bodegas Salentein, 100 kilometers (60 miles) from the city of Mendoza. The lodge is set in a beautiful and natural valley, surrounded by vineyards and the Andes mountain range. Activities at the lodge include horseback riding in the mountains, soft trekking through chestnut woods and visits to wineries. Fishing and whitewater rafting may also be arranged.

Day 1
Flight to Mendoza. Arrival at Mendoza airport and private transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, we will embark on a private tour which will make it possible to learn the history and culture of the city of Mendoza, founded by Spanish colonists more than four centuries ago. We will go through its tree-lined avenues and its streets bordered by “acequias” (irrigation ditches) and visit the most important sites in the city. Transfer to Salentein winery. Overnight in Posada Salentein Hotel, including dinner.
Day 2
Full day at Salentein winery. We will tour the winery, with a wine-tasting. You can also engage in horseback riding, as well as a soft hike around the San Pablo Finca (ranch). Overnight in Posada Salentein Hotel, including all meals.
Day 3
In the morning, you will be picked up in a private vehicle for transfer to the Familia Zuccardi winery. There, you will enjoy a tour with a wine-tasting. Lunch is included with a good selection of wines. In the afternoon, transfer back to Posada Salentein. Overnight in Posada Salentein Hotel, dinner included.
Day 4
Private transfer to airport to take return flight, or overlap with the add-on of your choice.
