Robinson Crusoe Island was the inspiration to Daniel Dafoe’s famous novel with the same name. It is situated 700 km west of Valparaiso, and it consists of dry plains, rugged volcanic cliffs and dense rain forests. Today about 500 people live on Robinson Crusoe island.

The island is hilly, and walking and hiking are incredible, but taxing. The waters here are much more hospitable for snorkel and scuba than anywhere else in Chile, and you will be very surprised by the bright colors of native fishes and tremendous visibility underwater. We recommend three to four days to explore the island.

Flights depart on Tuesdays and Fridays so you have a choice of 4-day, 5-day or 6-day programs.
