An escapade from Buenos Aires to Mendoza, to explore the country and its outstanding wines. Arrive in Argentina’s cosmopolitan capital, and soak into its history and current wine scenario. Fly to the province of Mendoza, into the diverse oasis of winemaking: the Central Valleys and the high terroirs of the Uco Valley. Lodge at exclusive, countryside retreats. Dine at Argentina’s most renowned chefs’ own private venues, and state-of- the- art wineries. Lay back and enjoy the landscape of this marvelous land at the foothill of the Andes.

We offer a choice of 3, 4, 5-star and deluxe hotels. The Deluxe option is the Alvear Palace or Four Seasons. Please inquire about these options with one of our Travel Consultant. In Mendonza, we will be staying at Salestein Posada and Club Tapiz, the cozy Posadas of the vineyards we will visit during this trip.

Day 1

Buenos Aires
We will be waiting for you at Buenos Aires Airport. Transfer to your centric hotel. A brief orientation meeting will be held at the hotel to meet our guide and review the itinerary before setting out on an afternoon tour of the city’s historic neighborhoods. In the late afternoon, we make a stop at one of the city’s finest wine bars and get acquainted with the superb Argentine Malbecs. Get ready for an evening of Music & Dance at one of Buenos Aires most authentic Tango venues (dinner included).

Day 2

Mendoza ( Uco Valley )
Morning transfer to Buenos Aires domestic airport to board an early flight to Mendoza, center of Argentina’s wine making. Transfer to Uco Valley and lodge at the exclusive Posada at Salentein Winery. Lunch at Killka, the Bodega`s Restaurant and Art Space. In the afternoon, we will visit the Salentein Winery and walk through the vineyards with incredible views to the Andes and the Tupungato Massif (22,375 feet).

Day 3

Mendoza ( Uco Valley )
Today we head for one of the valley’s finest wineries: Clos de los Siete, a joint wine adventure initiated a few years back by the world famous French winemaker Michel Rolland. Enjoy a typical argentine Asado (barbecue), delicious Empanadas (meat pies) and the Bodega’s exquisite blend, while you gaze at the magnificent Andes in the background. In the afternoon, we can horseback ride (easy level) by the Andean foothills, or just have it at leisure at the Posada’s magnificent surroundings.

Day 4

Central Valleys of Mendoza
After breakfast, transfer north to the province’s central valleys. Morning visit to award winning winery Achaval Ferrer. Only a few years into the market, its wines consistently receive 90+ punctuations in Wine Spectator. We will have lunch at the superb restaurant of Ruca Malen winery. The afternoon will be left at leisure at Club Tapiz. Located in an estate built in 1890 and surrounded by ten hectares of vineyards, the house was restored preserving its Renaissance- style Villa structure and maintaining vintage elements. Evening visit to centric Mendoza, and farewell dinner at “1884”, where Chef Francis Mallman blends the finest culinary traditions of France and South America.

Day 5

After breakfast, transfer to Mendoza airport to board flight back to Buenos Aires.
