Guests are able to get in close contact with Africa's most exciting wildlife species, and are presented with unparalleled photographic opportunities. Early morning game drive heads out as the sun rises and as the bush stirs to life. The ranger and tracker teams search for animals by tracking their spoor, and by listening for the tell-tale signs of activity. The middle of the day is free to relax at the hotel. Enjoy a guided bush walk with an experienced ranger to feel the pulse of the Africa and witness the bush at close quarters. The bush has its own language, and it is fascinating to watch those who possess the tools to encode it. No two bush walks are the same. Late afternoon game drive commences as the sun burns its way towards the horizon. The animals are now getting more active, many preparing for the great hunt after dark. Everything was perfect! Guides were wonderful!

Everything was perfect! Guides were wonderful! I especially loved the Chitwa Chitwa. The experiences here were fabulous, including eating dinner with a family of elephants, including a baby. From our room and the lodge we saw a herd of Hippos, crocodiles in the morning and two lions. On the drive we saw an Impala in a tree which had been killed by a lion. Then shortly thereafter we saw a leopard leap up into the tree to eat the impala. We also went to an art opening, and liked a painting so much that we decided to buy it and take it home. It was her first painting to sell and she was so happy she gave it to me. I hope in some way my trip to South Africa, may have changed this student’s life, who will now have more confidence as an artist.

We all loved Cape Town and Franschoek

We’re on our last day at Kagga Kamma and I wanted to let you know that we are having a great time and everything is according to plan. We all loved Cape Town and Franschoek. While we were unsure about KK when we arrived, it has turned out to be a great experience. Just today we saw ostrich, eland, wildebeest, red hartebeest, zebra, botinbok, Springbok and cave paintings. Ted and i are taking the ATV’s this afternoon. It is a huge reserve here. The weather today is sunny and cool. Off to the airport in early morning to fly to Kruger. Hopefully the last leg of our trip will be as good as the first.

It was the trip of a lifetime

Ted and I would like to thank you and your staff for helping us plan our trip. It was the trip of a lifetime! South Africa is such a beautiful country and we very much enjoyed all of the activities you planned. The safari was wonderful, wine country beautiful and relaxing, and the Cape Town area vibrant and so very scenic. The hotels were all great, the tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly and adapted plans to our interests, and the car transfers were all very professional. Everything went off without a hitch, which is such an amazing thing since our vacation was nearly 2 weeks long.
