The Classic Central America Highlights Tour begins in Panama including a Panama Canal transit and visit to the Gamboa Rainforest Resort. Yampu travelers continue to San José in Costa Rica to visit the Poas and Arenal volcanoes, and over to Granada, Lake Nicaragua and the Masaya Volcano in Nicaragua. In Honduras, we will visit the Maya ruins of Copán. Our trip ends in Guatemala with a visit to historic Antigua Guatemala, Lake Atitlán and the mystical Maya city of Tikal.

Yampu’s Central America Highlights with Belize Tour will take you to Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Guatemala; including a visit to Belize. From Tikal, we will cross the border to Belize and explore the town of San Ignacio, and its surrounding Maya ruins. We then fly to Ambergris Caye, famous for its turquoise waters and barrier reef, where we will spend the last 3 days of our vacation.

This highlights trip will take you across Central America and north to Riviera Maya. Visit Panama, where you will follow the Panama Canal and visit the Gamboa Rainforest Resort. See the fireworks of Volcano Arenal and walk through the forest on hanging bridges in Costa Rica. In Nicaragua, visit Granada, boat around Lake Nicaragua and visit volcanoes Concepción, Masaya and Madera. We then take you to the Mayan ruins of Copán in Honduras, Tikal in Guatemala, and Chichen-Itza and Tulum along Riviera Maya in Mexico.
