Chilean winemaking began with the conquistadores who brought grapevines over with them in the mid-16th century. Chilean wines, especially Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Carmenčre, are now internationally known. During these tours you will have the chance to visit the vineyards that produce these exquisite wines and visit the beautiful countryside surrounding Santiago. Yampu travelers will also visit Vińa del Mar and Valparaiso, and travel to Rosario, Casablanca, and Colchagua Valley. You also have the option to take the Wine Train to the quaint town of Santa Cruz.
