So sorry for the late reply--it has been a very hectic month! Our trip was absolutely fantastic, and we were really happy with everything planned by Yampu/Yampu. The hotel and cruise stays were both above our expectations--always a nice surprise after a long travel. Nu House had excellent service, and it's definitely a place I would stay at again. The day trips from Quito, both to the Equator Monument and the hot springs, were great--. Our guide, Mauricio, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our cruise around the Galápagos Islands was a wonderful experience, and we both agreed that it's even worth going again if we ever come up with the funds. ;-) The Galápagos Explorer had a great staff all around, and the landings and hikes were all very well planned. Their service was impeccable--naturalists, stewards, doctor, receptionists, everyone. We were very impressed all around. Overall, we were very satisfied with the trip, the organization and service.
