This city, originally settled by Austrians and Germans in the late 19th century, is surrounded by lakes Nahuel Huapi, Gutiérrez, Moreno and Mascardi and mountains Tronador, Cerro Catedral and Cerro López. Bariloche is the base for many excursions throughout the region that are sure to thrill and inspire visitors.
