One of the most beautiful national parks in the world can be found in Bahia, Northeast of Brazil. Chapada Diamantina in located in the center of the state, and its main gateway, Lençois, is 394 Km from Salvador.

Some did find gold or diamonds, but the greatest fortune of Chapada cannot be measured in carats – it’s the immense natural beauty, which has been protected by law since 1985, with the establishment of Chapada Diamantina National Park.
