Classic Uyuni Salt Flats: Starts in La Paz and ends in La Paz

One of the greatest “natural wonders”, the Uyuni salt flats are the biggest salts lakes in the world. 12,000 sq km of salt at an elevation of 12,000 ft, create a truly unforgettable experience as the flats reflect the sapphire-blue Altiplano sky. Depart La Paz and cross a large portion of the highlands towards Uyuni. Continue to Colchani to witness local salt production. Cross the Isla Incahuasi, Coquesa and the foothills of the Tunupa volcano, then arrive at the village of Tahua. The following day travel through the Quillacas highlands and crater of Tambo Tambillo and end your travels back in La Paz. You may choose from extensions to Sucre and Potosi, to the Colorful Lagoons or to Northern Chile.
