Enjoy Uruguay’s capital city. Founded for military and merchant purposes, the city of Montevideo transformed itself in an important military square and in the main port of the Rio de la Plata. Nowadays, you can find traces of what was like back then. The Old City tells the history of this country, being its main witnesses, the port of Montevideo, the Town Hall, the Matriz Chapel and the Ciudadela doors.

This trip will also take us to Colonia, founded by the Portuguese and disputed for years by the crowns of Spain and Portugal; it holds the magic of its history intact. Declared Cultural heritage of the Humanity by the UNESCO in 1995, Colonia de Sacramento invites you to a trip through the time. You can find charming stoned paved alleys lightened up by traditional and characteristic yellowish lanterns, on which uncountable historical and cultural attractions are there to discover and enjoy. The street of the Sighs, the Viceroy’s House, the Matriz Chapel, the Bullring, the Door of the Ciudadela, are only some of the architectural beauties that this spectacular city hosts.

Our trip ends at San Pedro de Timote, one of the most prestigious and best known historic Estancia of Uruguay. This Estancia, founded in 1854, was before the land of Uruguay’s first and most important Jesuit Estancia and thus the very first European agricultural venture. Today you can stay as a guest in any of the 30 rooms of San Pedro, enjoying its charm and the activities that it offers. Make long walks along the 500 hectares of park, horseback ride, or cuddle by the open fire places.
