Day 1
La Paz
Upon arrival in La Paz, transfer to your hotel.
Day 2
Half-day city tour of La Paz.
A four-hour tour of La Paz. We will go through the colonial part of the city, the San Francisco Church, the Gold Museum, the Murillo Square and the outdoor replica of the Tiahuanaco Temple. We will also visit the street markets, rich in handicrafts, weavings and witchcraft artifacts that represent the traditional beliefs of the Ch'alla (ritual of offerings) and Pachamama (mother earth and symbol of fertility). We will then see the modern part of the city and the dramatic drops in elevation.
Day 3
Bike ride to the southern part of La Paz.
First biking day to the southern part of the city, going through the modern neighborhoods and continuing to the Valley of the Moon, an incredible landscape created by natural erosion. Lunch included.
Day 4
La Paz (3,650m) to La Cumbre (4,650m) and Puente Villa (1,100m)
From La Paz, we will begin our journey towards Yungas and the Amazon, ascending to La Cumbre and then descending sharply to Puente Villa. Overnight in Tamampaya hotel. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 5
Puente Villa (1,100m) and Coroico (1,750m)
The bike tour continues uphill to Coripata passing rich agricultural fields of coca, coffee and citrus fruits. Then to Coroico, capital of North Yungas. Overnight at hotel. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 6
Coroico at leisure
Coroico is located on a hillside and is very popular amongst the people of La Paz and the highlands, because of its warm weather and green vegetation. Afternoon free to enjoy the hotel facilities. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 7
Coroico (1,750m), Caranavi (606m) and Guanay (450m)
This is an adventurous downhill bike ride towards the north, on a gravel road which runs parallel to the river until we reach the colorful town of Caranavi, a busy commercial center. Continuing to Guanay on the banks of the Caca river. Basic lodgings. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 8
Coroico (1,750m), Caranavi (606m) and Guanay (450m)
This is an adventurous downhill bike ride towards the north, on a gravel road which runs parallel to the river until we reach the colorful town of Caranavi, a busy commercial center. Continuing to Guanay on the banks of the Caca river. Basic lodgings. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 9
Guanay and Rurrenabaque (By boat)
Boat trip first on the Caca river, which then joins the Beni river, one of the main tributaries of the Amazon River in Bolivia. We will see the rich vegetation and fauna of this rainforest, such as capybaras and several varieties of birds. Overnight at hotel Safari. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 10
Rurrenabaque and Pampas
An incredible expedition to the Pampas area, to see the abundant flora and fauna. We will see alligators, monkeys, river dolphins, capybaras, macaws and many birds. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 11
Rurrenabaque and Pampas

Day 12
Rurrenabaque and La Paz
Flight through the Amazon and the Andes in TAM to La Paz. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

La Paz
Day of leisure in La Paz.
Day 14
La Paz (3,650m) to Copacabana (3,841m)
We will experience a completely different landscape of Bolivia here in the Highlands and Lake Titicaca. Bus to the lake and boat to the Island of the Sun, enjoying beautiful landscapes of the highlands in the heart of the Andean culture. Boat again to Yampupata where we will get back on our bikes and ride to Copacabana, with great views of the area and the lake. In Copacabana We will visit the great 16th century colonial church, and see the famous Dark Virgin of Copacabana. Overnight at hotel. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 15
Copacabana and Huatajata
We will cross a small undulating range until the strait of Tiquina, which connects the two parts of Lake Titicaca. The bike journey continues around the small part of the lake until we reach the village of Huatajata. Overnight at hotel. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 16
Huatajata and Sorata (2,678m)
Again, we will cross the highlands encountering pleasant Indian villages and going through another Andean pass at the foothills of the Illampu mountain, descending to the rich valleys of Sorata, an old colonial village. Overnight at hotel. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 17
Sorata to La Paz
Bus trip back to La Paz. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.
Day 18
Transfer out of La Paz
Transfer from the hotel to El Alto International Airport.
