‘Luxury’ and ‘safari’ are two words that do not have to be mutually exclusive. Enjoy Yampu’s unique Luxury Air Safari that allows you to travel in style while seeing the most of Kenya. Spending less time on the road and more time in Kenya’s top national parks and reserves, you will fly from safari to safari.

The first stop in this luxury tour is the Masai Mara Game Reserve, where you’ll stay at the Karen Blixen Camp, a top-of-the-line lodge named after the author of Out of Africa. Known for its abundance of wildlife, expansive land and unparalleled, annual wildebeest migration, the Masai Mara is Kenya’s most popular inland park.

From there, you’ll fly to Amboseli, a small, but distinct park, known for its elephants and set apart by its backdrop Mt. Kilimanjaro. Last but not least, you’ll head to Tsavo, Kenya’s largest national park, where the grounds themselves are stand-out, from the remote, arid plains of Tsavo East to the extinct volcanic cones and natural springs of Tsavo West.

Day 1

Tuesday
Nairobi.
Arrive in Nairobi, the capital city, and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2

Wednesday
Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve.
Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the airport Nairobi Wilson, where you'll join a scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. Your guide will welcome you at the airstrip and drive you to Karen Blixen Camp. Set on the bank of the Mara River, the camp consists of 22 tents of the highest quality. The location is also ideal, with the vast Mara plains behind the camp and the impressive escarpment and the river in front. After lunch at camp you set off on your first game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Karen Blixen Camp.

Day 3

Thursday
Masai Mara Game Reserve.
During the day, you'll go on another game drive through the Masai Mara. Keep an eye out for the Big Five. The Mara is known for its abundance of wildlife (particularly the Big Five). Breakfast and lunch at camp. We also offer a balloon safari (for a surcharge; ask your travel consultant for further details). Dinner and overnight stay at Karen Blixen Camp.

Day 4

Friday
Masai Mara Game Reserve – Amboseli National Park.
After an early morning bush breakfast, you'll fly into the Amboseli area and transfer from the airstrip to Satao Elerai Camp (located on an escarpment that looks out on Amboseli National Park and Mt. Kilimanjaro). After lunch at camp, you'll visit a typical Maasai village and learn more about the culture and traditions of the tribe. Dinner and overnight stay at Satao Elerai.

Day 5

Saturday
Amboseli National Park.
After breakfast, you'll go out on a morning game drive in Amboseli National Park, known for its elephants and set apart by its backdrop (Mt. Kilimanjaro). Lunch back at the camp. Afterward, you'll have time to relax and enjoy the wonderful panoramic view from your camp. Then in the late afternoon, you'll go on another game drive through the conservation area. At sunset, enjoy a bush sundowner. Dinner and overnight stay at Satao Elerai.

Day 6

Sunday
Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park.
After breakfast, you'll fly to Tsavo West National Park and then head to Severin Safari Camp for lunch. Afterward, you'll have time to relax at the Kenbali Spa, where you can go for a massage or look out at the impressive landscapes from the camp pool. In the afternoon, you'll set off for Mzima (Tsavo West's natural springs). At Poacher’s Lookout, have a glass of sparkling wine and canapés and watch the sun go down. Dinner and overnight stay at Severin Safari Camp.

Day 7

Monday
Tsavo West National Park – Tsavo East National Park.
Lace up your hiking shoes, and explore part of Africa's largest park on foot with a Maasai to guide you. On your tour, you'll learn more about the ecosystem and Tsavo West's wildlife. Breakfast back at the camp. After breakfast, you'll fly to Tsavo East, known for its herds of red elephants. At the airstrip, your guide will pick you up and bring you to Satao Camp for lunch. Then you'll go on a game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Satao Camp.

Day 8

Tuesday
Tsavo East National Park.
Enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch as you head to Luggards Falls on the Galana River. Check out the multi-colored rocks by the falls and their unique formations, not to the mention the large pool that the falls flow into; you might see a giant crocodile or two. Evening bush sundowner. Dinner and overnight stay at Satao Camp.

Day 9

Wednesday
Tsavo East National Park – Mombasa.
Breakfast at the camp after returning from an early morning game drive. Afterward your driver will bring you to the airstrip, where you'll depart for Mombasa in your private plane to connect to your flight back home. Optional extension trips to Tanzania and other parts of Kenya are also available.
