Patagonia Camp is located on the shore of the enormous Lake Toro and facing the dramatic Paine Massif, at kilometre 74 along the new road that connects Puerto Natales with Torres del Paine National Park. The camp is about 10 minutes from the Park’s Administration center and close to the main attractions. Patagonia Camp has 18 yurts; comfortable, independent tent domes nestled in a dense forest of beech trees and each with a spectacular view. Each yurt has a private bathroom, private terrace, and is fully equipped with king or two single beds and heating, and each is finely decorated with woven fabrics and locally handcrafted furniture.
Yampu only offers the Patagonia Camp as an add-on to our highlight programs. If booking alone, booking fee may apply.

Day 3
Thursday
After breakfast, this excursion to Torres del Paine National Park will take us to the park’s main attractions and lookout points to view and photograph the mountains and lakes that have made this park famous worldwide.
The excursion begins at the Mirador del Toro, a lookout point with a spectacular view of Lake Toro and the Paine Massif, and continues to the Grey sector where we will cross a hanging bridge over the Pingo River and arrive at the Grey beach, to view the electric blue icebergs that have broken off of Glacier Grey. From here we can see Glacier Grey in the distance, an enormous, 6km-wide wall of ice. The excursion then carries on to the Salto Grande and a short trek to the Mirador Cuernos, a lookout point with up-close views of the Paine Massif.
Dinner and lodging at Patagonia Camp.
Day 4
Friday
Following breakfast we’ll head to the Las Torres sector for the trailhead for one of the most spectacular trek in Torres del Paine National Park, the trek to the Base of the Towers (alternative 1). For guests who do not wish to take part in this hike, we will continue to Laguna Azul (alternative 2).
Before arriving at the Torres sector, we will stop briefly at the Nordenskjöld lookout point to enjoy the incredible views of the French Valley, the Horns, and the Paine Massif. Dinner and lodging at Patagonia Camp.
Alternative 1 - Trekking to the Towers begins at the entrance to the Valley of the River Ascencio; from here we climb up the trail for 45 minutes, enjoying dramatic views of the valley. The trail continues through beech forest and finally reaches a glacial moraine, which presents the most difficult part of the trail. The reward for the climb up the moraine however is the spectacular view of the granite tower formations that give the park its name.
Alternative 2 - Once we drop of our guests who opt for the Towers hike, we’ll continue to the Laguna Azul sector, where we’ll take part in a trek along the northern shore of this lake. From this point we can enjoy spectacular views of the Towers. This excursion is ideal for enjoying the park’s native forests and fauna.
