Quito, Otavalo, Bańos, Devil’s Nose and Cuenca ending in Guayaquil

This exclusive Yampu program ideally combines the large cities of Ecuador with the small Andean villages and colorful markets in between. Start in Quito, visit the markets and surrounding countryside near Otavalo, then travel south in private transportation to the infamous Devil’s Nose train. This trip ends in the cosmopolitan city of Guayaquil, Ecuador’s largest.
Quito, the capital of Ecuador, is a virtual museum of Indian and Colonial art. It houses beautiful cathedrals, elegant old mansions, interesting museums, plazas and parks. This fascinating city sits in a cool Andean plateau, surrounded by majestic mountains. Taking the Chaski Antawa is not just a train ride; it is also a combination of service, adventure and the charm and flavor of the past while crossing the Andean corridor. You have the memorable experience of overnighting in the historical Hacienda Pinsaqui near Otavalo. As you make your way south, you will visit the Cotopaxi National Park, and enjoy the Devil’s Nose in Alausi. You will also visit the Inca Ruins of Ingapirca and stay two nights in the beautiful colonial city of Cuenca. Cuenca has been recognized as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Its red-tiled roofs, cobblestone streets, flowery plazas and museums make it very special. You end your trip in the cosmopolitan city of Guayaquil from which you can easily get your international or Galapagos flights
While there are no set dates for our trips, in order to link the two train programs, you must begin this trip on a Sunday. You may also choose the type of accommodation you’d prefer (three-star to five-star hotels are available). The Deluxe option allows you to experience the Royal Suite of the new Plaza Grande in Quito.
This tour includes airfare allowance from London (UK), on non-holiday dates. You do not need to fly via London; Yampu will fly you the most direct way to your city of destination. Depending on your travel dates and proximity of travel, we will quote you the most economical surcharge from your city or country of origin.
