Rincón de la Vieja National Park was created to protect the flora and fauna surrounding the volcano. Here you will be able to relax in the thermal waters known as “Las Hornillas” and “Las Pailas,” sulphur ponds and bubbling mud, and admire examples of the Costa Rican national flower, the purple orchid.
Day 1
Shuttle bus transfer from Monteverde to Rincón de la Vieja National Park. Afternoon at leisure, optional activities available. Overnight at hotel in Rincón de la Vieja.
Day 2
Day of leisure in Rincón de la Vieja, which was created to protect the flora and fauna surrounding the volcano. Here you will be able to relax in the thermal waters known as “Las Hornillas” and “Las Pailas,” sulphur ponds and bubbling mud, and admire examples of the Costa Rican national flower, the purple orchid.
Included, choose one of the following excursions: tubing, horseback riding, visit to the nearby waterfalls, volcanic mud pools and mountain biking.
