Your trip will start with three days in magical Rio de Janeiro. Take a full-day tour around Rio to see Sugar Loaf, Corcovado Mountain and Tijuca rainforest as well as Christ the Redeemer. Enjoy dinner and a samba show before traveling to Parati. Parati is a pretty colonial town located 160 miles southwest of Rio, on Brazil’s Costa Verde, and a UNESCO world heritage site that has been beautifully preserved. The spectacle is the lush green Mata rain forest, small fishing towns, pristine deserted Islands and the warm crystal clear jade-green Atlantic Ocean. There is a lot for you to explore, at this wonderful destination where the surrounding hills are still mostly covered in gorgeous green coastal rainforest.

This tour includes international airfare from London (UK), on non-holiday dates. You do not need to fly via London; Yampu will fly you the most direct way to your city of destination. Depending on your travel dates and proximity of travel, we will quote you the most economical surcharge from your city or country of origin.

Day 1

Upon arrival in Rio, transfer to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Note: check-in is normally after 2 pm. Early check-in may be granted subject to availability (not confirmed).

Day 2

Full-day Sugar Loaf, Corcovado Mountain and Tijuca rainforest Drive along Rio's famous beaches to the Praia Vermelha cable car station, where you will be taken to the Urca Mountain (mid-way station) with its gardens and lookout points. Then, the second part of the ride will take you to the peak of Sugar Loaf Mountain, 1,300 feet above sea level. Continue to the Cosme Velho train station. The cogwheel train will climb up through the Tijuca rainforest and will bring you to the steps of the Christ statue. At 2,300 feet above sea level, it is a breathtaking view of the city of Rio de Janeiro, Guanabara Bay, Sugar Loaf Mountain, the nine-mile Rio-Niterói Bridge, the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. Lunch included.
Note: This is a group tour and may involve wait times picking up other passengers at different hotels. We recommend that this tour be done privately in order to avoid this, at an additional cost of $ 32 per person, based on two people ($ 64 based on one person).

Day 3

Day free to enjoy Rio, or choose from one of our optional day tours Evening, Rio by night! We will pick you up at your hotel for a wonderful samba show with dinner at one of Rio's liveliest restaurants. The samba show includes "mulatas" and "batuqueiros" showing you Brazilian rhythms, folklore and fancy Carnival costumes. Dinner and round-trip transfers included.
Note: Transfers are done via bus and may involve wait times picking up other passengers at different hotels. We can offer private transfers at an additional cost of $ 42 per person, based on two people ($ 84 based on one person).

Day 4

Morning depart for Parati*. This is a beautiful four hour drive along the coast to the rainforest. Upon arrival check in to your hotel. Afternoon Walking Tour of Parati. Parati is the perfect town for a walking tour in since no cars are allowed. This colonial town is surrounded by beautiful, rugged beaches, numerous islands off the coast, parks with bromeliad plantations and waterfalls. Parati’s colonial heritage is preserved in the form of elegant colonial Portuguese churches and houses in the relaxed atmosphere of a town untouched time. This charming town has many restaurants, shops and boutiques and is known for it's delicious cuisine.

Day 5

Half day Schooner tour around the beautiful Islands surrounding Parati, stopping to snorkel, swim and eat lunch. The islands we visit vary daily. You will have four stops with about 40 minutes in each place, one of the stops will be to have some lunch(not included). At these stops is possible to dive with mask and snorkel in a clear and warm water. Usually we do include the Ilha Comprida which is more known as natural aquarium of fish, it is perfect to take pictures. The tour includes tropical fruits, mask and snorkel.

Day 6

Free day for you to relax and enjoy Parati at your leisure.

Day 7

Transfer* back to Rio de Janeiro airport to take the flight back home.
