Visit the Cotopaxi Volcano and Cotopaxi National Park, then the town of Zumbahua and the picturesque town of Bańos at the gateway to the jungle. On the way back to Quito we will stop at the first refuge of the Chimborazo, Ecuador’s highest volcano. The entire program is done in private transportation with an English-speaking guide and driver.
Day 1
From Quito we will travel south along the Pan-American Highway to Cotopaxi National Park, where you will have the opportunity to admire Cotopaxi, the highest active volcano in the world. We will stay overnight in a charming local hacienda. Box lunch included.
Day 2
Visit Zumbahua, one of the most charming and unspoiled villages in the highlands. We will then journey to the volcanic lake of Quilotoa. In the afternoon we will arrive in Bańos, a picturesque town located at the gateway to the jungle, where we will stay overnight.
Day 3
After breakfast, we will drive to Riobamba, before continuing to San Juan and to the first refuge of Chimborazo, Ecuador’s highest volcano. Return to Quito and transfer to your hotel. Box lunch included.
Day 4
Transfer to the airport or choose from optional excursions.
