This three-day excursion takes us through some exciting rapids in the Apurimac River. It goes through remote and wild scenery with deep gorges, and camping is on sandy beaches on the shores of the river. Sightings of deer, otters, condors and even pumas are possible.

Day 1
Cusco-Huallpachaca
At 9:00am we head out to the Huallpachaca bridge at an altitude of 2,000 meters, about 5 hours southeast of Cusco. After lunch our guide gives a safety instruction followed by a demonstration of the equipment. We will raft for 1.5 hours on class II and III rapids. Then we will set up camp on one of the beautiful beaches of the Apurimac River and rest.
Day 2
Apurimac River
After a healthy breakfast we pack up the camp. Next, we raft down class III and IV rapids, stopping only for lunch. Then we will walk some dangerous class VI rapids which are impossible to run. Then we will set up the tents and rest.
Day 3
Apurimac River
After a good breakfast we will raft down some class III, IV and V rapids. 5 hours later we end our adventure at the Kunyac bridge. Lunch, then return to Cusco, arriving at approx. 6pm. At night, we will enjoy the video of our trip in one of Cusco's Pub.
