Three day excursion to the main Jesuit missions in San Javier and Concepcion, in the immense and beautiful prairies of Chiquitania. It will be interesting to see these beautiful colonial churches in the middle of the Amazon jungle.
Day 1
Upon arrival in Santa Cruz, private transportation passing the Rio Grande, Rio San Julian, San Ramon and the Jesuit Mission of San Javier. This beautiful town has preserved all the influence of colonial architecture and is surrounded by the rich Amazon jungle. Lunch and dinner included. The marvelous Jesuit Missions are located on the immense prairie of the Chiquitania, South America’s last undiscovered paradise.
Day 2
The trip continues through open savannas and areas of jungle until we reach the town of Concepción, the largest center of the Missions, with a beautiful Jesuit church that is a special treasure of the baroque from the 18th century. The town is also the main and largest repair shop for all the restoration done in the Jesuit Missions. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 3
Morning to enjoy the warm weather and the beauty of Concepción and its friendly people. Return to Santa Cruz, passing through San Javier and transfer to the airport to return to La Paz or overlap with the add-on of your choice. Lunch included.
