Day 1

Monday
Fly from mainland Ecuador (Quito or Guayaquil) arriving in Baltra at approximately 12:00 pm. Your guide will meet you there & take you to the bus. After a short 5-kilometer ride to the pier, we board the Tip Top III Yacht without delay.

Dragon Hill or Charles Darwin Research Center
This morning we disembark the yacht in order to visit the National Park, for a visit to the Charles Darwin Station and its interpretive center.

Day 2

Tuesday
Post Office Bay
After breakfast, we make an early wet landing at Post Office Bay where we will visit the oldest postal system in the world; getting a chance to mail a letter to friends around the world.

Devil's Crown and Punta Cormorant
This afternoon we make a wet landing on Punta Cormorant and take a short walk to the Flamingo Lagoon. We continue the walk until we reach the beach called "La Picona" to see marine turtles and their spawning grounds. After we make our way back to the landing point, we have time for a dingy ride and optional snorkeling before we return to the Yacht for dinner.

Day 3

Wednesday
Punta Suarez, Espańola Island
In the afternoon we make a dry landing at Punta Suarez and walk along lava beds where we will observe unique colonies of marine birds, including Albatross (May - December). This evening we return to the Yacht for dinner and our nightly orientation.

Gardner Bay and Osborn Islet
Gardner Bay is on the eastern shore of Espanola. After making a wet landing, you will walk along seemingly endless stretches of sandy beach where you will find large colonies of sea lions. There is no trail to follow so feel free to explore, relax, or swim.

Day 4

Thursday
Interpretation Center, San Cristobal

Cerro Brujo and Kicker Rock, San Cristobal
A dinghy ride along the coast of San Cristobal heading northeast will bring us to Cerro Brujo. We make a wet landing on this inviting powdery beach beside turquoise waters. The beach is a great open walking area with rewarding birdwatching. Highlights ashore include the Chatham mockingbird and the Chatham lava lizard both of which are endemic to the island.

Day 5

Friday
North Seymour
After a dry landing we will enjoy a walk along the coast and the interior of North Seymour Island. The site is known for being a major nesting colony of blue-footed boobies that perform fascinating courtship dances. North Seymour is also home to the largest colony of the magnificent frigate bird known for the male's display of vibrant red pouches in hopes of attracting a female.
After this exploration we will return to the Baltra airport to board our flight back to the mainland.

Prices listed are per person. Prices include air transportation from Quito or Guayaquil to Galapagos return, 4 nights accommodation on the Tip Top II or Tip Top III including all meals, transfers, bilingual naturalist guide, and planned tours. Not included is a $100 fee to be paid to the park as a contribution to its conservation and a $10 Transit Control Card fee which must be paid in cash upon arrival in Galapagos. Local airport taxes that are payable in the country of destination are not included. Taxes and security fees that can be paid at time of ticketing are already included in the quote (if airfare has been included in the quote).
