The towering granite “cuernos”, also known as horns, in Torres del Paine National Park are perhaps the best known image of Chile. Enormous glaciers mark the northern boundary of the park; this is the southern extreme of the Patagonia ice-field, the world’s largest. Glacier Grey continuously melts slowly into Lago Grey providing spectacular crashing ice and brightly colored green and blue icebergs.
