Hotel Mainao is a relaxing place in Puerto Ayora, in a comfortable family environment. Originally built as a home for the owners’ two daughters, Maile and Naori (whose names inspired the name of the hotel), it has now been converted into a comfortable stay for tourists, away from the downtown’s hustle and bustle.
Throughout his experience as a tour guide, the owner has come to understand the tourists’ expectations in terms of service and infrastructure, and have applied these to the hotel. Little by little, it has grown to 19 rooms. There are peaceful gardens and patios, making it the ideal place for resting and relaxing.
