The Tham Phu cave in Laos revealed hidden Buddha statues in 2004. Since then it became a great place to go kayaking and explore.

The spectacular Route of the Waterfalls
– Ruta de las Cascadas – runs between the towns of Baños, located between four impressive volcanoes, and Puyo, the capital of the Pastaza province of Ecuador. With the Tungurahua volcano towering over it, Baños is a popular destination well known for its hot springs reputed to have therapeutic properties.

The source of the Rio Celeste river’s distinctive turquoise color is not a due to a chemical species but to a physical phenomenon.  Celeste River in Costa Rica is fed by two colorless rivers, the Buenavista River and Sour Creek. Buenavista River carries a large concentration of aluminosilicate particles with a small diameter.
Sour Creek, as its name implies, has a high acidity due to volcanic activity. When these two streams meet, these suspended particles produce a strong turquoise color.
