Tour Overview

This tour incorporates big city life and rainforest exploration all with a minimal amount of time in the air. This survey of Peninsular Malaysia concentrates on a total absorption of the vibrant sights, prevalent sounds and enticing tastes of Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Then, head upriver from the city working your way up the Tembeling River, passing into the jungles of Taman Negara National Park. Only a few hours north of Kuala Lumpur, Taman Negara is a fauna rich rainforest that you’ll explore from the ground, high up on the “Canopy Walk” and after dark on a guided nocturnal tour.

Singapore has played host to major international meetings, conventions, exhibitions, events, concerts and has been an attraction for visitors from all over the world. There are many more facets of Singapore than just history, culture, people, shopping and food waiting to be discovered!

From its not so glorious days as a humble shanty town, Kuala Lumpur has evolved into an ultra modern 21st century metropolis with Southeast Asia’s tallest skyscrapers. As is the case with Singapore, perhaps most intriguing about the city is its astounding cultural diversity thanks to the Ethnic Malays, Chinese businessmen, Indian immigrants and British colonists that built this city from the jungle floors.

Covering an area that is twice the size the country of Luxembourg, Taman Negara’s rich jungles cover a swath that encompasses over 2,500 square miles and extends across three states. Within its impenetrable depths is an ecosystem comprised of ancient trees, massive root systems, exotic orchids and lush ferns that are buzzing with a world of animals.

I had such a great time with Yampu

I had such a great time with Yampu, and I would love to travel with them again. My boyfriend and I booked a customized private tour to Thailand (Bangkok and Chiang Mai), Laos (Luang Prabang), Cambodia (Siem Reap and Phnom Penh), and Vietnam (Saigon, Hanoi, and Halong Bay.) We both enjoyed every minute of the trip. The guides were all friendly and knowledgeable, the drivers were always punctual, the accommodations were lovely, and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend Yampu to anyone who wants to have a good time on their vacation.

Our SE Asia trip was awesome.

Our SE Asia trip was awesome. It would take too long to go into even the highlights of the trip, because there were so many. Your people on the ground in Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong were terrific but the Kuala Lampur guy not so much. Best/highest kudos go to Sylvie in Bangkok who we feel went the extra mile to not only host us and show us around, but to take care of us like a mum on tours and events and even on our days of leisure. Our guy in Singapore and Christina in Hong Kong were merely excellent. The hotels were wonderful but we would stay at the Marina Bay Hotel in Singapore next time. What an awesome place that is. We have over 700 photos and a hundred stories about our experiences in these exotic lands.Thank you so much and your people and your colleagues for making this such a memorable trip for us.
