Lodge Overview
Inkaterra’s story initially commenced in the heart of the Amazon and this hacienda is situated in between the Tambopata Natural Reserve and the Madre De Dios River consisting of 19 cabanas on stilts and a 6 room casa grande with high ceilings and a rustic thatched roof are peppered around the property. Local guides offer guests an astonishing selection of activities so as to provide a vast amount of knowledge on the Peruvian Amazon rainforest. Excursions include a visit to Lake Sandoval, a water mirrir inhabited by Howler monkeys, caimans and giant river otters. The rooms come well equipped with cotton sheets, hypoallergenic pillows, comforters, bathrooms with hot water, and natural essence toiletries. Every room has a view of the forest with an immediate sitting area directly on the porch.
