PANAMA

A glorious trip to the Canal

Panama, the transcontinental nation connecting North and South America, is best known for the Panama Canal. However, Panama has much more to offer to the visitor, such as dense rainforests with abundant wildlife, pristine offshore islands on its two coasts, pre-Columbian Indian communities which have scarcely been affected by modern times, rich culture and fabulous duty-free shopping.

Explore this country bordering both the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean, between Colombia and Costa Rica, and which has a strong and thriving economy. Meet the Panamanians, the majority of whom are mixed Amerindian, African and Spanish descent.
