What Our Clients Are Saying
Just had Evelyn on the phone for over an hour and they had an incredible time......
"Very impressed with China and learned a lot! We loved our experience in Tibet. The people are lovely and scenery magnificent. We had very accommodating and thoughtful guides. Very helpful."
Flights in China were great and no delays, hotels were awesome, guides were wonderful, tours were perfect and even the train worked out. The 8th person on the train was a young Tibetan woman and they felt safe with her in the compartment.
Once again, a total success and very happy clients....
Best and thanks,
"We had a wonderful trip! Yampu was wonderful in giving us different options to make our trip more customized to suit our needs. Our guide was also very knowledgeable and helped make our stay in Singapore fun and effortless. We all enjoyed the itinerary- not too packed with activities and everyone enjoyed the gardens, the animal safari, and city tour. The bus and vans we rode in were comfortable and the air conditioner was much welcomed in the tropic heat!
"My husband, son and I are so happy and grateful for the trip we enjoyed in Costa Rica. The drivers were always on time, pleasant, and speaking English. The tour guides chosen were superb, wanting to please us, and answering our many geography, science, nature, and history inquiries. We liked the tours, the learning, the hotels, and accommodations, the chances to see the local shops, restaurants, and the beaches on our own for a time. We liked the planned events to keep us busy and learning, a couple events a day. We survived the zip line, and took a taxi to El Fortuna for a fun lunch at Lava Lounge. We loved the Arenal Manoa Hotel as the best quality resort we visited. We also liked the first place which was the Evergreen Lodge, where we could see nature and take walks to view animals every day. We enjoyed a great tour in Tortuguerro where there were nice people on the tour with us. The last day was great because our driver and guide were so excellent, taking us to Poas Volcano, La Paz Waterfall, with 1000's of animals, and the local Palmares Festival with 10,000 locals. We also liked having time in San Jose to see the local National History Museum and the Gold Museum. We had coffee and turtle soup at the Gran Hotel! We ate at the Arentine Restaurant on our last night. In Quepos, we went to the Ollie North, an airplane turned into a restaurant/ bar : Le Avion. We also ate a light supper at the Sunspot at Karanka by then Sea, and a lunch at Le Papillon in La Mariposa Restaurant. As you can tell, we liked the whole trip. It was fun for all. Thank you for making all the arrangements convenient, pleasant, and educational."
"Yampu Tours is truly an agency that put the needs of its clients first. I have had two occasions to use them to book travel plans for my family and me and both times the trips and excursions were flawless. The second trip required some additional help involving the agency doing some research and follow-up for us. Without their help, we probably would not have been able to complete the second trip. They worked without hesitation to secure for us all the information we needed. The excursions they planned for my family were exactly what they requested and all trips went on without a hitch. It is not often that one can travel to a foreign country and know that everything is taken care of and one can travel stress free. Yampu Tours offers that type of service; professional and exceptional."
"I want to thank you again for everything you did for my mother and daughter. They enjoyed a wonderful trip and everything went very smoothly. They loved the hotel and said the excursions were exceptional, with the guides giving them first class service. In fact, my Mother is considering moving down there. While she said it has changed so much, she really did enjoy herself so much and loved the country and what has been done to improve it. And without your finishing touches and tour plans the way you took into consideration her age and their needs, I doubt she would feel like moving back. I will definitely recommend your agency to anyone I know taking a trip oversees. Thanks again for everything. "
"Mom loved Belize we are already thinking about the possibilities of a family trip someday soon. She did her first ever (at 83) snorkelling and her first golf cart ride the country is delightful and everwhere we went the people were fantastic. I would recommend this trip to anyone and have already mentioned it to several people (even in airports) our guides at Lamanai were very knowledgeable and attentive San Pedro was so different from the jungle what a fantastic experience. We did get a boat to the Blue Hole thanks for all the work you did to make this a memorable experience!! "
"A father son trip to Peru. On Cusco: It was fascinating to see the spinning, coloring and weaving process which is a lot more than a person realizes. I bought a baby Alpaca sweater which means it was made from the first shearing which is the softest Alpaca wool and it was extremely reasonable and definitely the real deal. On Machu Picchu: we were shocked of how big this place was It's truly a mystical place and we had beautiful weather in this rainy season. On the hike to Montana WaynaPicchu: We started climbing at 7:00. The fog was so thick we didn't know if it would clear. We wandered through several of the lower dwellings overlooking the river and the valley. . . we could imagine what it would have been like to wake up looking out those windows. It's no wonder this is one of the new 7 wonders of the world. We felt special knowing that only 200 people a day get to see this view and we had perfect weather. We had to crawl through a tunnel and up a wood ladder and then we were on the very top of the mountain scattered with big boulders. It's a sight we will never forget. After enjoying the view of a lifetime we headed down and it was quite a feat to come down the steep stairways without tripping. That climb will always be one of the highlights for us to remember. Going with my son was pretty special because we enjoyed so much together and wanted to see all we could. I believe we will be going back to Peru in the future."
