Welcome to Paris

Upon arrival at the Paris airport, you will be met by your local driver and transferred to the center of Paris.

Enjoy your full-day sightseeing with a private guide and vehicle: discover Paris in a panoramic city tour that will give you an entire overview of all the major sights: the Eiffel Tower, Trocadéro, Champs-Elysées, Concorde Square, the Garnier Opera, Vendome Square, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Louvre, the Madeleine Church, the Invalides tower, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Seine River banks.

For lunch, you may enjoy a covered-glass cruise boat along the Seine River or at one of the Eiffel Tower's restaurants.

Then continue the journey towards the vantage point of Montmartre to overlook the city, wander around the painters' square, and visit the Sacred Heart Basilica.

Embark on a ragtop Citroen 2CV vintage car tour with your driver-guide for a panoramic guided tour of Paris (2 hours). An original and fun way to discover Paris with a private guide, don’t hesitate to ask the driver to go to the more off-beaten tracks!

Le Louvre & Palace of Versailles

Depart from your hotel with your driver. Discover the incredible artwork on display at one of the most famous museums in the world, with a knowledgeable and lively private guide.

Take in the beauty and emotion of some of the museum’s most well-known pieces: Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, the Raft of the Medusa, Winged Victory of Samothrace, and many more… Whether you are a couple, a group of friends, or with your extended family, you will enjoy a unique visit full of interesting anecdotes and great works of art. (Your guide is also a pro at explaining art and history to children - families of all ages are welcome!)

In the afternoon, discover the most iconic castle and gardens in France! Inherited from his father, Louis XIII, Versailles became famous thanks to Louis XIV as incredible as we know it now. It seems hard to imagine that, at first, Versailles was only a royal hunting lodge before being as magnificent as it is now. Your guide is only waiting for you to be amazed in front of this UNESCO-classed Palace!

Come to Versailles to discover the 67,000 square meters of the wild baroque castle. Did you know that there are more than 700 rooms in the palace? Visit the King’s Grand Appartement and its 7 salons with a theme around the Gods and also the Queen’s Bedroom. Of course, the famous Galerie des Glaces, Hall of mirrors, which is 73 meters long and not less than 350 meters!

The guided visit continues to the Gardens created by André Le Nôtre in 1661. The gardens are as rich as the castle, with 368 artworks, including 200 statues! Do not miss the fountains used from the XVII century, its flowerbeds, and grove.

After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel, check-in, and settle into your rooms for your overnight stay. ...read less

The best guides, the best experiences, and the best service in every country

My wife and I have used Yampu 4 or 5 times now to plan our travel for us. They have access to the best guides, the best experiences, and the best service in every country we’ve used them to visit – from Portugal to Cambodia and from Peru to Iceland. This most recent trip to Iceland was perfect. Two days in Reykjavik, where we did a walking tour of the city, a food tour, the Fly Over Iceland experience, and some shopping and relaxing. Then 2 nights at the Retreat Spa – which is a very special experience in itself that is hard to describe – and then two nights in the countryside where our private guide took us to all of the main attractions on the Golden Circle and South Coast. Private guides mean no waiting, front row parking and VIP access everywhere, and wonderful knowledgeable guides without a lot of time herding on and off of buses and going places that may not interest you. It is a bit more expensive, although not as much as you might think, often less than a high end group tour — without the group. Yampu has planned each trip just for us, exactly what we want to do, and not anything we don’t – and it has always worked out great – highly recommend.
